All families who like hiking and holidays in the mountains willl enjoy the most beautiful holiday here in Kitzbuehel.
Hiking is a phantastic activity for the whole family with children at every age. Old and young, short legs and longer legs ... all of them will have their fun in the Kitzbuehel Mountains. As we have so many cable cars and lifts also operating in summer time even families with small children can reach the mountain tops quite easily and enjoy the fresh and clear air up there.
With pleasure we will tell you some of our best spots to visit with your kids. Enjoy a walk in the Wildlife Park in Aurach and visit the deer withouth fences right next to you. On a hot day you could experience the "Hexenwasser" - a water park high up on the mountain. You just need to come and enjoy!
What about a boat trip in a rowing boat on the lake near Kitzbuehel, the Schwarzsee. Or you take the bicycles and have a ride to the adventure park in Aschau. The babies on their seat in the back, the kids have their own bikes from the sport shop next door.
Many walks and hikes are also suitable for your push chair. We can tell you which ones. Or you take our special backpacks where your baby can comfortably sit while you walk. Like this you have no excuses for rocks in your way up - you just climb them!
